Keauhou Beach Resort sits directly on the Kona Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Part of the seven-story hotel is actually built over tidal pools where Hawaiian green sea turtles glide through the tranquil waters. This premier resort recently underwent a comprehensive renovation. There are 311 rooms, four indoor meeting rooms, a day spa, ocean view fitness room, oceanfront restaurant and bar, swimming pool, six tennis courts and three large outdoor function areas. Kahaluu Beach Park, one of the best snorkeling beaches in Hawaii, is adjacent to hotel grounds. A complimentary shuttle is available to nearby Keauhou Shopping Center. The 10-acre property includes two ancient sacred temples, a canoe landing and petroglyphs made by Hawaii's ancient people. Cultural workshops and presentations are offered throughout the year.
